I've never really been a fan of blue jeans on me (actually, I just hate jeans
in general I think!), but I have come to realise I wear far too much black
and that I need to inject some sort of colour into my outfits. The result? A
mixture of denim, black and leopard. I'm thinking of giving myself a little
DIY project and attempting to rip these up a bit - any tips on doing so?!

As a side note for anyone planning to come to NYC: make sure you
spend some time walking the streets of Williamsburg, Brooklyn. I
can't wait to take more photos around here, the street art and hidden
gems are just incredible - a must see for anyone exploring New York!

Looking lovely, Ashleigh!
ReplyDeleteI think you can pull off jeans better than most, you lucky thing!
As for ripping jeans - my auntie once told me many years ago that she used to achieve the worn effect by taking a cheese grater to the jeans. I did it once to the knees of a "too new" looking pair and it worked nicely.

so cute! I agree with the cheese grater suggestion, or sandpaper. they'd look great ripped up a bit! x

This coat is perfect! RE the jeans, you need to take out the warp (vertical) threads so you are left with the white weft (horizontal) threads. Pretty sure there is a youtube tutorial on it. xxx
