Upper West Side.

Since our arrival to New York about 3 weeks ago, we have been relaxing,

taking in our beautiful surroundings and eating too much food (of course!).

As we came over with no apartment or job to go to, we have recently begun

the search for both! Who knew it would be so hard to get an apartment! I 

thought our biggest problem would be finding somewhere, but as it turns out

the hardest part is getting past the crazy 'foreigners-leasing-apartments' rules.

Things are looking up though so fingers crossed I will have a cute little

apartment soon to share with you all. On the up side, having no permanent

dwelling has meant we have been hopping around New York and getting

a taste of each area - which I have enjoyed so much! We started off in a

beautiful waterfront Williamsburg apartment, with a view of the Manhattan

skyline from our bedroom window! Can't complain about that one! Then we

found ourselves in Midtown West, which was close to Times Square. After

that we headed to the Upper West Side, which I adored because it felt like

I was living next door to celebrities and the brownstone apartment lined

streets were absolutely stunning! We are now in the Midtown East/Murray

Hill area, right near Grand Central Station, which is also very beautiful. 

Phew! Fingers crossed this week brings some apartment and job news!
