Continuing with the theme of my last post (and pre the 'basics'

shopping spree I'm about to go on!), I've always liked to dress

simply. I think a t-shirt and jeans combo is as simple as it gets!

What is your idea of the perfect, simple, lazy day outfit?

PS. I love being able to walk through the streets and see amazing

street art. This piece is dedicated to Sandy Hook Elementary and

extends down an extensive part of the street. Super cute idea!

Back to Basics.

With the warmer weather approaching, the time has come to invest in

some new basics. Over the years, I've learnt that the most important

thing when choosing staple basics is quality. You end up wearing them

so much that it's worth forking out that little bit extra for good quality

and they won't become as disposable. These are a few pieces currently

That Skort.

This skort has been sitting in my wardrobe ever since it appeared

at Zara - sitting, waiting wishing for warmer weather to grace us

with it's presence so it can finally get worn. Alas, the warm weather

is still yet to come, but I thought the skort needed it's much overdue

introduction. So here it is, that Zara skort in all it's glory! I'm almost

positive it will get a work out in the coming months, and I'm excited.

Sunshine Stylin'.

I'm just going to start this post by describing my current weather related feelings:

The sun is finally out in New York and I couldn't be happier! We've been treated

to two days of 26'C / 78'F weather and I don't even care that the temperature is

dropping in the next few days. What a delightful thing it is to ditch the coats and

get my butt back into a pair of shorts - pale limbs and all! I celebrated the warmth

by spending the day walking around Williamsburg, iced coffee in hand, checking

out all the beautiful streets and street art my neighborhood has to offer. In love.

Apologies for the time between this and my last post - bad blogger alert!

Life (and snowy weather) sometimes takes over. That said, I'm back and

feeling more inspired than ever so expect things to pick up not slow down.

My new jeans arrived yesterday and I'm head over heels in love. I've been

searching for the perfect pair of waxed jeans for what feels like a lifetime

and after going on a shopping expedition last week with a 'I'm not going

home until I find my perfect jeans' attitude, I found them! These rag & bone

jeans tick all boxes - perfect waxed look, great length, tight on the legs and

ankles and fit my waist. I'm so excited to wear these babies to absolute death!

Oh, and can you spot my other new little baby?

PS. Welcome inside my NYC apartment! You may see a few more
