Outfits that require little to no effort are my favorite. Silk tee, silk shorts, sandals. Easy breezy (stinking hot) NYC summer!

Now that New York is sweltering hot, it's time for rompers and rompers only. This little
bad boy (or cutie?) is from ASOS and was dirt cheap. It goes really well with all the ice cream
and donuts I eat, so I'm probably going to be seen in it a lot this summer. Along with the other
rompers I have in my extensive romper collection. Once you romper, there's no looking back!

Please excuse my severely hungover head, but I just needed to point out that I'm wearing a
white, lacey dress and that there are a couple of similar ones en route to my wardrobe!

Saturday afternoon adventures in black and denim. A little bit of variety never killed anyone, right?

Vintage denim shorts (love these!)

Pairing pretty-in-pink pastels with newly tree lined streets and the ice cream cart at my local park.

If there's one item of clothing I would recommend everyone add to their wardrobe right now - it would
be a baby pink leather jacket. It's love, and for "black hearted" me, that's saying something.

Zara jacket (this one and this one are amazing!)

Spring made a quick appearance, and then disappeared just as quickly. Washington Square Park, you'll
be seeing a lot of me when it warms up. Mainly just to pull more ~attractive~ faces in good lighting.

I think I look forward to spring mainly because of my sweater-shorts-boots-wide-brimmed-hat combo
obsession. If I could live in an outfit all year round, these would be the main components. And just
because it's spring doesn't mean I have to say goodbye to black. Apparently that will never happen ...
