The New Year.

I'm a bit late with this 'Happy New Year!' post, but sometimes it takes me a few
days into a new year to properly reflect on the year that was. I hope you all had
wonderful celebrations with your nearest and dearest to ring in the new year, and
I hope you have set yourself some goals and dreams to make 2013 the best year
it can be. I'm starting the year living in a city I have always dreamed of living in
and although it's going to be a lot of blood, sweat and tears, there is no better
feeling than living your dreams. I can only wish the same happiness and adventure
to all of you, so set some goals and work hard - you'll be amazing at what you do.

Thank you so, so much to each and every one of you who has ever read poison
in a beautiful bottle. Your support and love are the reason I enjoy doing this
as much as I do, and motivates me to keep doing it. Happy 2013 - make it yours!

Here's a couple of my 2012 moments, each holding a special memory.

Let it SNOW!

So, today it snowed (!!!). There's nothing quite like looking out your window
and seeing snow falling from the sky, especially when it doesn't snow where
you're from! These photos were taken in Millennium Park, a place in Chicago
you couldn't imagine being able to become more beautiful ... until you see it
covered in white, powdery goodness. Even though I absolutely despise having
snow in my face and all over my clothes, it's excusable based on it's beauty.

This Zara scarf has been my absolute saviour; so big, so soft and so warm!

Merry Christmas!

I hope you all had a wonderful, magical, beautiful and exciting
Christmas and that you were all able to spend it with the people
you love the most! My Christmas was a little different this year,
as I traded scorching temperatures back home for below freezing
weather in Chicago. Despite crazy time differences and missing
my family a huge amount on a day that is very family oriented
for me, it really was amazing spending a Christmas in a colder
temperature, the way some people would say it is supposed to be
spent! We even had a light snowfall Christmas morning - woo!
If you're not from America and are thinking of spending one
Christmas over here - you should absolutely do it! The way that
Americans do the holiday season is truly incredible and magical.

These are just some quick and not so outfit detailed photos from
our adventure out for Christmas lunch. I can't even describe how
cold it was - I'm hiding so many layers under what you can see!

If I woke up with any of these items in my stocking on Christmas morning, I'd be
one very happy little lady! What are you super duper wishing for this Christmas?

Universal.

Sending you love from the not so sunny California! I'm settling into American life
like it was only yesterday that I left, and I'm totally loving it! I'm currently traveling
through San Francisco, a city that is honestly so incredible - such a down to earth,
natural, beautiful and amazing city. If you haven't been here, put it straight on the
top of your visiting list. If I didn't love NYC so much, I would be moving here!

These photos were taken at Universal Studios when I was in Los Angeles. Please
excuse the boring outfit; when it comes to theme parks I need to dress for comfort
in order to act like a total and utter child - running a much and riding all the rides!

I also worked on a really fun project while I was in LA, and I have a few posts already
to come from some cool touristy locations in San Fran! Can't wait to share it all!

Rodeo Drive.

G'day from LA!

I've finally made it to America (after 20-something hours of flying & layovers -
phew!) and I couldn't be more excited to be back in what feels like my second
home. So far we've had lots of adventures, including this trip to Rodeo Drive in
Beverley Hills where we snapped a few outfit photos (attracting a few onlookers
who I think may have thought I was someone important, sorry to disappoint guys!).

Most of the snaps I'll be posting on my blog will be outfit posts from locations,
so if you want to follow my trip more closely, follow me on Twitter & Instagram!

Studs Up!

Sometimes there's just nothing better than dressing for comfort. I highly
recommend doing it in a pair of studded running shorts and converse!
